The world´s biggest free of charge lindy hop festival is on again! Out-of-the-way village Gäddede houses 400 inhabitants, but has been able to welcome a number of lindy hop celebrities.
The festival started with lindy rock n´roll guru Calle Johansson when he moved back to Gäddede a few years ago to care for his mother, who had suffered from a stroke. Calle has worked hard to improve her care and the festival is closely linked to this and his friends from around the lindy world showing their great heart.
Many people have contributed to the former festivals, but they could not have been done without Elliott Donnelly, Lorenz Ilg, Arnold Westberg, Catrine Ljunggren, Malou Meyenhofer and Chester Whitmore. All these profiles will spice up Gäddede 2017 too.
The festival itself is free of charge, including accomodation and meals.
There will be a jar where everyone can put voluntary contributions.
